Chowkidar Chor Hai
One of the most powerful slogan given by Rahul Gandhi to shut up the BJP hooligans who call out every possible name to anyone who asks the achievements of the BJP government.
They question dynasty, when you ask for equality. They question patriotism, when you ask for constitution. They question partition, when you ask for secularism. Then they start abusing you, when you ask for data.
Anytime they say Modi, say Chowkidar Chor Hai. These 3 words simply shuts them up. The bhakts have absolutely no come back.
The BJP tried to counter and wash this down with the Main Bhi Chowkidar campaign. They counted number of impressions, the number of tweets and other analytics to show their digital prowness. For a party which could not bring back their site even after 3 weeks (no back up) and then stealing w3layouts template, shows that all numbers are manufactured to suit a narrative and anyone who questions that is non-patriotic.
Yeh sab ka thod hai….Chowkidar Chor hai.
And of course the age old, galli galli mein shor hai, Chowkidar Chor hai, will pain them and pin them to a corner. Even if they say proudly, mein bhi Chowkidar, they still dont have a come back. Main Bhi Chowkidar is as lame as May be Chowkidar. No one trusts a may be. :-)
Times Now and other Godi Media have tried to brush this Chowkidar Chor hai as having backfired and does not resonate with anyone. But remember back when you didnt vote for BJP in 2014, if anyone said Ab ki baar… it came naturally right to say Modi Sarkar. Now when you say Chowkidar… even if you are a bhakt in your head you are saying…. Chor hai. Its catchy, its sticky, so stick to it.
